Rambling

Week 2 of attending UBC in Hattiesburg. I still love it. So much, I love it. A friend of mine from class went with me and also loved it, so now I'll have somebody to go with!

I also went to the Farmer's Market here in Hattiesburg last Thursday. I'll definitely be back there every week I can (we have class during the time it goes on, but we've been getting out early enough to go the past few weeks).  I bought baby squash, zucchini, cherry tomatoes, organic eggs. freshly baked wheat bread, and inherited some freshly picked blueberries from a friend.  Needless to say, this has been an incredible week of eating.

Running is turning into something that I can't wait to do every day. I remember the first day I tried to run, back in October. It was so embarrassing/nasty/hot/uncomfortable.  I don't think I ran a total of 5 minutes that day.  Two days ago I ran a total of 14 minutes and 1.02 miles. WHAT?! I've really been amazed at how quickly and easily I've been able to increase my time and distance. There's just something that feels pure about running. It's almost like the air I breathe while I run is more pure than any other air I breathe.

These next couple of weeks are going to be toughies as far as school work goes.  I have a LOT due in the next two weeks, which means I need a LOT of motivation to get these things done.

I've also been having really long, intense, detailed dreams at night (completing an entire crossword puzzle, picking out a paint color and painting an entire room, etc.), and I'm pretty sure it's because I spend so much of my time not engaging my brain. Therefore, if you are feeling lonely or need someone to talk your ear off, just give me a call, and maybe you can fix my dreams for me!

Also, apparently this tropical storm may come my way. Y'all say prayers.

XOXO
