I feel like I always come back to this realization, but it plays such a huge role in my life. Everything happens for a reason. I can't not talk about it. I really do love Hattiesburg a lot. I've started a part-time job (not in the social work field, but it pays), started making friends, and have really enjoyed getting to know the community here. The other day I was at dinner with a friend and we started talking about everything it took to happen for us to meet. It wasn't just the fact that I decided to go to USM. There were so, so, so many more things that had to fall perfectly into place for me to get here. Realizations like that always give me such a peaceful feeling about life and where mine is going. I'm really happy with who I am and where I am, which isn't something I've experienced very many times before.
Football starts soon. I'm beyond excited.
It's August, which means it's almost September, which means fall is on the way. Hopefully it will bring some fall weather with it, and we won't be scorching in October and November.
Mumford & Sons - Hold on to What You Believe
"Hold on to what you believe in the light, when the darkness has robbed you of all your sight."
